Privacy Policy
Effective March 23, 2026
The short version: Bloom Days collects only what's needed to help you track your baby's day. We don't sell your data, we don't run analytics, and we don't show ads. Your family's information stays yours.
1. What Information We Collect
When you use Bloom Days, we collect the following information that you provide directly:
- Account information: Your email address and a display name you choose.
- Profile: An avatar emoji you select (a single emoji character — no photos).
- Baby information: Your baby's name, date of birth, sex, birth weight, birth length, and gestation weeks.
- Activity logs: Feeds (type, duration, volume), diaper changes (type), sleep sessions (duration), medications (name, dose), measurements (weight, height, head circumference), milestones, doctor visits (with notes), events, and journal remarks.
We do not collect your location, photos, contacts, browsing history, or any data from other apps on your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to provide and operate the Bloom Days app:
- Authenticating your account and keeping it secure.
- Displaying your baby's activity data, growth charts, trends, and timeline.
- Syncing data in real time between family members you've invited.
- Sending transactional emails (account verification, password resets).
We do not use your data for advertising, marketing profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app for you.
3. How We Store and Protect Your Information
Your data is stored in Supabase, a database platform hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. All data is protected by:
- Encryption in transit: All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS (TLS encryption).
- Row Level Security: Database-level policies ensure that only authenticated members of your family can access your family's data. No other user can read, modify, or view it.
- Authentication: Access requires email verification and password-based login.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third party. Period.
Bloom Days uses zero third-party analytics services, zero advertising networks, and zero crash reporting tools. The only external service we use is Supabase for database hosting and authentication.
5. Children's Privacy
Bloom Days is designed for parents and caregivers to track their baby's activities. The app is not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under the age of 13.
The baby-related data entered in the app (name, birth date, activity logs) is provided by parents or caregivers — not by children themselves. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have control over your data:
- Access: All your data is visible to you within the app at all times.
- Correction: You can edit or update your profile and your baby's information directly in the app.
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings within the app. You can also request deletion by emailing support@bloomdays.app.
- Export: If you'd like a copy of your data, contact us at support@bloomdays.app.
7. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated personal data and activity logs are permanently deleted from our systems.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision.
